History
Endō Station opened on 20 February 1924 as a station of the Chikuma Railway, on the section between Hata Station (then written 波多, today 波田) and Shimajima Station, at what is now Hata, Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture. The operator was renamed Matsumoto Electric Railway in 1932, and the station passed to Alpico Kōtsū on 1 April 2011. It is a ground-level station with a single side platform serving one track and is unstaffed. The name of the Kamikōchi Line's image character, Endō Nagisa, is taken from this station and the neighbouring Nagisa Station.
Notes
The Kamikōchi Line's mascot, Endō Nagisa, takes her name from this station (Endō) and from Nagisa Station.
