History

Enai Station opened on 15 March 1927 as a station on the Kotohira Electric Railway. Following a merger on 1 November 1943, it became a station on the Takamatsu-Kotohira Electric Railroad, as it remains today. It is a station with a single side platform serving one track, located in Enai, Kotohira, Nakatado District, Kagawa Prefecture, and the platform can accommodate a four-car train of 18-metre-class large cars. It originally had crossing capability, and traces of the abolished former platform remain. It is unstaffed, but equipped with automatic ticket vending machines and a simplified IruCa ticket gate.
