Location

History

Dashidaira Station is a station on the Kurobe Gorge Railway Main Line in Otozawa, Unazuki-machi, Kurobe, Toyama Prefecture. It opened in 1926 with the completion of the Unazuki–Nekomata section. Because it is a station dedicated to Kansai Electric Power, general passengers may not use it; even on short-turn trains that terminate here, general passengers cannot alight and must remain on the same train for its return trip. Situated at an elevation of 370 metres, it has one island platform serving two tracks and a siding permanently occupied by a heavy-load flatcar.

Notes

The station building still bears the notation "出し平えき," using okurigana that differ from modern standard orthography.
