History
Chayagasaka Station opened on 13 December 2003 with the Sunadabashi–Nagoya Daigaku section that closed the loop of the Nagoya Municipal Subway Meijō Line. The station, in Chikusa Ward, has two opposed side platforms and station number M15; its assigned line accent colour is yellow. It is administered by the northern district office of the Meijō Line at Sakae. Platform-edge doors were brought into service in two stages in November 2020, with track 2 (right-loop, towards Motoyama and Yagoto) commissioned on 16 November and track 1 (left-loop, towards Ōzone and Sakae) on 23 November.
Notes
Nagoya Municipal Sunadabashi Elementary School, named after the neighbouring Sunadabashi district, has Sunadabashi Station as its nearest stop but also lies close to Chayagasaka.
