Location

History

Bayside Station is on the Maihama Resort Line's Disney Resort Line in Maihama, Urayasu, Chiba, opened on 27 July 2001 — the closest station to Tokyo Disney Resort's official hotels. Trains use a single side platform on the left of travel, with the bus terminal for the dedicated 'Disney Resort Cruiser' shuttle directly below. The station became PASMO-enabled on 14 March 2009. Previously, afternoon and night incoming trains used Bayside as their terminus before being deadheaded to Tokyo DisneySea Station. The station's design is simple but brightly coloured, with plum used as an accent at key points, and past the roof projecting over the tracks there is no wall to block the view, so the official hotels can be seen from the platform.

Notes

The bus terminal directly below Bayside Station is the departure point for Route B of the 'Disney Resort Cruiser', a dedicated free shuttle linking the station with the five Tokyo Disney Resort Official Hotels. It has five stands, serving the Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel, Hotel Okura Tokyo Bay, Hilton Tokyo Bay and Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama, with the fifth shared by the Tokyo Bay Maihama Hotel First Resort and the Maihama View Hotel by HULIC. The same terminal is also the departure point for the Guest Parking Shuttle, which runs between the station and the resort car park at busy times.
