Location
History
Aoyagi-chō Stop (Y25) is on the Hakodate City Tram Hōrai-Yachigashira Line in Aoyagi-chō 33-banchi and 21-banchi, Hakodate, Hokkaidō. It opened on 30 October 1913. The opposed 2-platform / 2-track layout had a protective wall added on the outbound platform in July 2005. On both platforms the Yachigashira side has a pedestrian-activated signal crossing, and the push-button signal runs on limited-hour automatic control, so during operating hours passengers who have alighted can wait for the green and cross.
Notes
Aoyagi-chō sits next door to Hakodate Park and, inside the park, the Municipal Hakodate Museum — both within a short walk of the stop.
